Perioperative Services - Medical Director Opportunity - Position located in Appleton, WI - Full-time, Hospital Employed - BE / BC in Internal Medicine - H1b Visa Eligible Position Overview : Wisconsin's largest non-profit healthcare system is seeking a BE or BC Internal Medicine Physician to join our expanding Perioperative Services Team in Appleton, WI. - Full-time 1.0 FTE (0.9FTE Clinical & 0.1FTE Medical Director Duties) - Monday-Friday : 8a-4 : 30p - No call, weekend or holidays - Unique position to care for surgical patients in the inpatient setting while also cross-training into an outpatient clinic for preoperative risk stratifications and evaluations. - Role will directly influence quality outcomes of surgical patients including postoperative outcomes, same-day surgery cancelations, care coordination, readmission prevention and system mortality index. - Opportunities for quality improvement work. - Exciting opportunity to partner with nearly all specialty practices starting with surgeons, primary care, therapy, cardiology, pulmonary etc all the way through the surgical experience and post-operative phase.Offer Details : - Competitive Base Salary plus value-based incentives - Signing Bonus : Generous sign-on bonus offered! - Vacation : 35 days - CME : $4,500 / year - Health / Dental / Vision - Long Term & Short Term Disability - Life Insurance - Malpractice, Paid Tail Coverage & WI Patient Compensation Fund - Licensing / Board Fee Reimbursement - 403b with a company match and 457b with a company contribution - Legal Plan Option - Can sponsor H1-b visas - Public Service Loan Forgiveness
