Huntsman is seeking an Administrative Assistant supporting the Corporate Division located in HATC, The Woodlands, Texas .

This position will report to the Office Services Manager .

Job Scope

Provide administrative support to HATC Testing Services group as well as to several divisional R&D / Technology groups on site.

In summary, as the Administrative Assistant, you will :

• Create and process Purchase Requisitions as required
• Coordinate with Purchasing and Accounts Payable groups as required
• Coordinate meeting and travel arrangements as required
• Manage and maintain phone and mail directories, Method of Tests, and other databases
• Prepare and maintain correspondence, presentations, files, etc. as requested
• Assist with various site support functions as required (Copiers / Printers, Mail, Conf. Rooms, etc)
• Back up facilities support and other admins in their absence
• Participate in special projects as required

Other general responsibilities :

• Follows instructions and performs other duties as may be assigned by supervisor.
• Assists other employees in accomplishment of Huntsman company goals.
• Participates in and completes company-required training programs.
• Participates in Environmental, Health, & Safety initiatives as set forth by the company.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

The candidate must have an unrestricted right to work for Huntsman in the United States.

Required Qualifications :

High school diploma or equivalent.

5+ years of related experience.

Must have a high level of proficiency with Internet, Email, and Microsoft programs.

Proficiency with SAP and Ariba Systems are required .

Skills and knowledge

Must have a high level of proficiency with Internet, Email, and Microsoft programs.

Preferred Qualifications :

SAP Plant Maintenance desirable .

Experience working with CORA accounts payable system is highly desirable .

Experience working with R&D / Technical personnel or R&D / Technical environment highly desirable .

Competencies

Communicates tactfully and effectively both verbally and in writing and maintains effective work relations with those encountered during employment.

Flexibility and adaptability to new instructions and / or dynamic organizational priorities is critical for job success.
