About the Role :
We are seeking a skilled Rigger 1 to join our team in Grapevine, TX., you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient movement of heavy equipment and machinery.
Your attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols will be critical in this role. You will work in an outside yard located at 3500 Valleyview Lane, Irving, TX and have the ability to also work on other projects as needed.
Crane experience is needed to be succesful in this role
Minimum Qualifications :
- 2+ years of experience as a Crane Rigger 1 or similar role
- NCCCO Rigging Certification
- Knowledge of rigging equipment and safety protocols
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications :
Experience with heavy equipment and machinery
Responsibilities :
- Inspect and prepare equipment for rigging and transport
- Operate rigging equipment such as cranes, hoists, and pulleys
- Secure equipment and machinery for transport using chains, straps, and other rigging equipment
- Communicate with team members to ensure safe and efficient movement of equipment
- Maintain rigging equipment and perform routine inspections
Skills :
As a Rigger 1, you will utilize your knowledge of rigging equipment and safety protocols to ensure the safe and efficient movement of heavy equipment and machinery.
Attention to detail and the ability to work in a team environment are critical in this role. Additionally, experience with heavy equipment and machinery, as well as certification in rigging or a related field, is necessary.
Physical Requirements & Working Conditions :
Performing General Physical Activities Performing physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials up to 50 pounds.
