This role entails providing solutions to near real time reporting needs using SAP HANA or a similar database, and overseeing fast-paced, intricate distributed database environments that support OLAP systems.
The successful candidate will lead and collaborate with a diverse, multi-functional team, both locally and remotely, to design, develop, and support product and process development efforts for our next-generation products.
Main responsibilities include : - Design, develop, deploy, and manage relational column tables in production environments, ensuring high availability, scalability, and disaster recovery.
- Design, implement and optimize SQL stored procedures, views, data pipelines, issue detection and resolution, and log analysis.
- Implement column and row level security for access. - Lead cross-functional teams to support large-scale databases with high transaction volumes and ensure continuous availability.
- Lead the development of data pipelines to cloud environments such as Snowflake. - Design, develop and implement reporting solution on any one of the following : Tableau, Business Objects or custom UI solutions, ideally using NodeJS
