Job Title : Manufacturing Associate / Operator; $20.78 / hour to start

Job Description

We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Manufacturing Associates. This role offers opportunities for both day and night shifts.

As a Manufacturing Associate, you will be responsible for various tasks including formulation, processing, packaging, and cleaning within a temperature-controlled environment.

Responsibilities

• Weigh powders (chemicals) from original containers into small to large transfer containers, monitoring room temperature and humidity.
• Load chemicals into large stainless-steel blenders, using an equipment operation interface to preblend, mill, and postblend while monitoring automated processes and troubleshooting as needed.
• Prepare materials and pack out powder into containers such as barrels, buckets, and bottles, and palletize filled containers.
• Break down and set up equipment, hook up hoses / piping using gaskets / clamps, spray down rooms, load equipment into parts-wash, and operate and monitor automated cleaning processes.
• Perform basic computer tasks as required.
• Write legibly, clearly, and accurately in logbooks and company records as needed.

Essential Skills

• 6+ months of manufacturing experience.
• Basic mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Must be able to maneuver and position mechanical components up to 50 kg.

The shift you start on will be your permanent shift, with no changes between days and nights.

Work Environment

Clean room manufacturing environment. Employees will wear a cleanroom suit for safety and cleanliness. Day shift hours are from 7 : 00am to 7 : 30pm on a 2 on 2 off 3 on 2 off schedule.

Night shift hours are from 7 : 00pm to 7 : 30am on the same schedule. Scrubs must be worn inside manufacturing areas, over regular clothes.

Safety shoes and glasses must be worn at all times while inside the manufacturing area and warehouse. N95 masks are required for certain tasks, and employees cannot have facial hair that interferes with the use of these masks.

A fit test is required prior to employment.
