Assistant Field Manager

Opportunity to help shape field operations working directly with the VP of FO. Growth path to General Superintendent.

Position Goals :

  • Support the VP of Field Operations and Field Superintendents with quality-focused field services
  • Ensure timely flow of information between internal teams, clients, and stakeholders
  • Promote clear communication and collaboration across project teams
  • Uphold and enforce compliance with all standards, procedures, and best practices

Job Description :

  • Manage field activities, ensuring accurate procurement tracking, scheduling, reporting, and documentation.
  • Lead pre-punch and punchlist resolution efforts in collaboration with Field Superintendents and Project Teams.
  • Conduct quality inspections, enforce quality checklists, and support pre-install meetings and lessons-learned initiatives.
  • Support company safety programs by performing audits, investigating incidents, coordinating training, and ensuring compliance with safety plans, permits, and site-specific requirements.
  • Oversee fleet and equipment programs, trailer maintenance, and random drug testing.
  • Assist with onboarding new field staff, coordinating tools, certifications, and new hire documentation.
  • Participate in recruitment outreach and support marketing efforts for new hires.
  • Promote adoption of technology and continuous improvement across field teams.

    Proficient in Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, and Outlook. Highly organized with strong written and verbal communication skills. Skilled at prioritizing tasks and driving them to completion. Self-motivated professional with the ability to work independently. General knowledge of project management software and construction practices a plus.

    Competitive base salary ranging from $90,000 to $120,000, based on experience and qualifications.
