Job Title : Cath Lab Tech (CLT)

Location : Elmhurst, IL

Start Date : 9 / 8 / 2024

Contract Length : 13 weeks

Schedule :

• Shift Hours : 10-hour Day Shifts, 4 days / week (7 : 00 AM - 5 : 30 PM) with a rotating day off
• Hours per Week : 40 hours
• Weekend Rotation : Rotating on-call (Friday, Saturday, Sunday)
• On-call Requirements : 6-8 days per month, including one weekend; 30-minute call-back time
• Holiday Requirements : As needed

Job Description : Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a highly experienced Cath Lab Tech for a 13-week contract in Elmhurst, IL.

The Cath Lab Tech will work in a dynamic Cardiac Cath Lab environment, performing procedures and providing critical support to the team.

This role requires extensive experience in multi-specialty labs, including Electrophysiology (EP), Catheterization (Cath), and Interventional Radiology (IR).

Responsibilities :

• Assist physicians in performing cardiac catheterizations, electrophysiology studies, and other interventional radiology procedures.
• Prepare and maintain the sterile field, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Operate and monitor complex diagnostic and therapeutic equipment.
• Provide high-level technical support during procedures.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulatory guidelines.
• Participate in rotating on-call duties, including weekends and holidays as needed.

Qualifications :

• Experience Required : 5+ years of recent Cath Lab experience, with expertise in multi-specialty labs (EP / Cath / IR).
• Licenses Required : ARRT and IL License.
• Certifications Required : BLS and ACLS.
• Strong technical skills and ability to work in a high-pressure environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
