Responsibilities
Senior Manager, SCS Product Marketing will help lead projects that assist with product launches and existing product changes across Nevro’s SCS businesses and geographies.
This position will report directly to the Director of Product and Upstream Marketing leading Global Product Management. You will operate within a rapidly evolving, cross-functional, and highly regulated environment.
This role requires strong business acumen and interpersonal skills to aid in working cross-functionally with R&D, marketing, manufacturing, finance, quality, clinical, and regulatory partners.
You will have high visibility in an environment focused on growth and a genuine desire to improve with support from all levels of the organization.
- Owns a project from inception through completion, manages multiple mid-scale projects on his or her own.
- Works with the Director of Product and Upstream Marketing on larger, more complex projects using a collaborative, solutions-based approach.
- Operates as the liaison for Quality, Regulatory and Systems to help assist in Upstream and Downstream Product Marketing Projects.
- Helps to manage the Launch Excellence Process and working with the cross-functional team to accomplish the required to tasks needed to hand off to the Senior Product Marketing Manager.
- Works with Quality and Regulatory to assist in all CAPA and recall efforts
- Knows when to escalate an issue before it could affect timing.
- Recognizes the simultaneous need for rigorous adherence to process and the flexibility to adapt to inevitable changes along the way.
- Is responsible for developing or assisting in the development of project plans, detailed scoping documents, and budgets and for ensuring product launch that is on time, on schedule, and within budget.
- Is responsible for accurate project estimates.
- Assist in the SCS Evidence Generation Process for product claims and track data required for substantiation.
- Establishes well thought-out project plans that have been reviewed, vetted, and approved by team leads from all disciplines.
- Clearly communicates prioritized daily tasks with the coordination of the Director of Product and Upstream Marketing.
- Works with third-party resources and / or agency partners as needed for project coordination.
- Identifies any resourcing issues, and immediately prioritizes identifying and working toward solutions.
- Motivates the Product Marketing team to ensure expectations are met, while ensuring dependent steps in the process are completed in a timely fashion.
- Provides clean, actionable documentation as necessary for internal project kickoffs and project milestones.
- Helps to manage and streamline launch excellence process for future project launches.
Role Requirements
- 3+ years of post-MBA experience in medical device or biotech marketing or 5+ years of medical device or biotech marketing.
- Equivalent work experience may be substituted for education requirement.
Skills and Knowledge

- Can-do attitude, ready to learn and tackle new tasks.
- Ability to work in hospitals, operating rooms, clinics, surgical centers.
Target Pay Range
$139,648.00-$192,016.00.The final starting salary offer to the successful candidate will be determined by evaluating several factors, such as education, experience, knowledge, skills, internal equity, alignment with market data, and geography.
Nevro is a multi-state employer, so the target pay range may increase or decrease depending on the city / state.
