Job Description

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Professionals with certification in speech-language pathology are needed for full-time positions within K-12 educational settings for the 20252026 school year. These roles are suited for candidates holding the Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) and valid Illinois licensure to serve students across various grade levels.

Available Openings :

  • One SLP-CCC position in Shorewood, IL, working with elementary, middle school, high school, and transitional students.
  • Two SLP-CCC positions in Woodridge, IL, focused on high school and transitional students.Candidates may have the opportunity to work at one or two school sites based on preference and assignment.

Responsibilities :

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy services tailored to the needs of K-12 students.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to identify speech and language impairments.
  • Develop, implement, and participate in Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and families.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with district policies.
  • Engage in ongoing communication with multidisciplinary teams to support student success.
  • Qualifications :

  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC).
  • Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Experience or training in pediatric speech-language services preferred.
  • Ability to manage a caseload effectively within school-based settings.
  • Completion of fingerprinting as required by district regulations.
  • Schedule and Duration :

  • Full-time positions offering 35 to 37.5 hours per week.
  • Contract runs from the start of the 20252026 school year through its conclusion.
  • Candidates must participate in an in-person interview before an offer is extended. Immediate availability is preferred, and hiring decisions will be made promptly.
