Under Supervision, This Position Is Responsible For Supporting Human Resources Functions Which Include Preparing And Posting Open Positions Internally / Externally.
Screening Applications. Administering Pre-Employment Testing; Corresponding With Management And Applicants Regarding Status Of Applications.
Facilitating New Employee Orientation; Assisting Employees Regarding Health, Dental And Life Insurance And Leaves Of Absence.
Coordinating Company Drives And Program Implementation. Providing Routine Administrative Support In Support Of The Full Service Unit.
JOB RESPONSIBILITES :
- 1. Provide support for on-site employment process by preparing and posting open positions internally / externally, to include coordinating appropriate newspaper advertisements, screening applications for completeness to determine if applicants should be considered for pre-employment testing and administering tests;
- scheduling of interviews and coding applications to be forwarded to Employment at home office; ensuring response cards are mailed in a timely fashion;
and corresponding with management and employees on the status of their applications. Coordinate applicant drug testing log with Home Office to assure result is received on all hired applicants.
2. Facilitate new employee orientation providing the home office with necessary information and documentation in a timely manner.
3. Provide assistance to employees regarding eligibility, enrollment and changes in health, dental, and life programs e.g.
Dependent life, Voluntary AD&D, etc. Coordinate documentation with Leaves i.e. LOA, FMLA, etc. Check accuracy and completion of forms and necessary correspondence and forward to Benefits.
4. Coordinate company activities, drives and special promotions i.e. blood drive, United Way, flu shots, etc including communicating events and scheduling appointments.
5. Facilitate benefit meetings i.e. Long Term Disability enrollment meetings, etc. Maintain stock of necessary forms used by employees regarding benefits, credit union, payroll, etc.
- 6. Provide administrative support to include scheduling and coordinating meetings, composing, typing and transcribing routine and confidential reports and correspondence;
- responding to inquiries as appropriate; making travel arrangements and requesting travel advances; preparing expense reports;
coordinating and maintaining petty cash; updating and maintaining attendance records, etc.
7. Sort and distribute a variety of documents.
8. Track, verify, and bill for temporary agency services.
9. Communicate and interact effectively and professionally with co-workers, management, customers, etc.
10. Comply with HIPAA, Diversity Principles, Corporate Integrity, Compliance Program policies and other applicable corporate and departmental policies.
11. Maintain complete confidentiality of company business.
12. Maintain communication with management regarding development within areas of assigned responsibilities and perform special projects as required or requested.
JOB REQUIREMENTS :
- High School diploma or GED.
- 2 years office experience.
- Ability to work independently with co-workers.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize.
- Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills.
- PC proficiency to include Microsoft Word, Excel and Access.
PREFERRED JOB REQUIREMENTS :
Knowledge of federal and state laws concerning employment practices.
