Vice President of Construction - Luxury Private Island Development
A prestigious opportunity awaits an experienced construction executive to lead the development of Torch Cay, an ultra-exclusive private island community in the Bahamas. This role combines luxury residential construction leadership with the unique challenge of managing a world-class island development project.
Position Overview
As Vice President of Construction, you will lead all construction operations for this landmark $500M+ development, ensuring the delivery of exceptional quality across residential, recreational, and infrastructure projects.
Essential Responsibilities
- Drive strategic direction and executive oversight for all construction activities
- Manage complex multi-million dollar budgets and cost control measures
- Lead pre-construction planning, design review, and project execution
- Oversee procurement and supply chain logistics in a remote island setting
- Build and mentor high-performing construction teams
- Maintain relationships with international vendors and local contractors
- Ensure compliance with building codes and environmental regulations
