About The Position
Weekly Pay Range - $2290 To $2544 Job Title : MRI Technologist Job Specialty : Diagnostic Imaging Job Duration : 13 Weeks Shift : Dayshift : 7 am - 7 pm (3x12 per week) Guaranteed Hours : 36 Experience : Minimum 2 years License : Certified Radiology Technologist Certifications : - Certified MRI Technologist - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) - Basic Life Support Certification Must-Have : - Graduate from Specialty Training Program in Radiologic Technology Job Description : - Perform imaging procedures at a technical level in compliance with safety standards.
- Prepare and position patients for MRI procedures, explaining exams thoroughly and addressing patient questions. - Conduct MRI procedures including neuro, body, and extremity, following radiologist protocols.
- Administer venous access for IV contrast as directed by a radiologist. - Enter required data into Radiology Imaging System, IDX Imaging Suite, and Picture Archive Communication System Image Management Systems.
- Process images as needed and identify anatomy accurately on images. - Conduct quality control tests on equipment and report any irregularities.
- Notify appropriate personnel of equipment malfunctions and assist in ordering supplies. - Act as a liaison for radiology support to physicians, referring issues to Team Leader.
- Perform imaging exams and procedure tray setup, handling non-controlled medications. - Work within a clinical environment, fulfilling all job-specific obligations and adhering to organizational policies and procedures.
