Job Description

Turner & Townsend is seeking an experienced and analytical individual to join our US finance and accounting team. As a key contributor, this role will be responsible for the preparation and support of monthly and quarterly financial information, developing new reporting structures, and ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of reports.

Furthermore, this individual will be responsible for collaborating with the wider business in the aggregation of financial information to assist in the documentation, review, and communication.

This individual will have ownership and accountability for the collection, analysis, and presentation of financial information to support strategic decision-making.

Specifically, this role will :

  • Own the process of preparation and distribution of monthly, quarterly, and annual management and statutory statements and reports.
  • Investigate key metrics and analyze business impact.
  • Develop new and streamline existing reports to scale the reporting structure of the business.
  • Collaborate with the group finance team and wider business to create synergies and transparency in all commercial facing reporting and data aggregation.
  • Provide assistance in ad-hoc tasks and other finance and business initiatives.
  • Gather, analyze, and interpret data to prepare accurate and timely reports.
  • Ensure all reports comply with GAAP, IFRS, financial reporting standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
  • Keep track of various reporting requirements and ensuring timely completion.
  • Ensuring the accuracy and reliability of reports through rigorous quality checks.
  • Present findings to senior management to support decision-making and drive business growth.
  • Review and recommend improvements to financial reporting processes.
  • Ensuring precision in data collection, analysis, and reporting.
  • Stay updated with changes in financial regulations and best practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of post-graduate experience in financial reporting and accounting management.
  • Strong understanding of financial reporting standards such as GAAP and IFRS.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Key Attributes

  • Proficiency in analyzing data to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
  • Creative thinker who can design excel reports and analyze complicated data sets.
  • Experience in financial software and tools like Excel, Dynamics 365, and data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI is strongly preferred.
  • Managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines under pressure.

Additional Information

The salary range for this full-time role is $120K-$135K per year. Ranges are determined by role and level and represent a good faith effort to provide a fair and equitable salary.

This range is a reflection of base salary only, not of a total compensation package. Please note Turner & Townsend reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range, depending on candidate’s experience and qualifications.
