Senior Field Sales Representative Responsibilities :
- Reach or exceed annual sales goals
- Cultivate and develop existing customer relationships to maintain and increase sales in territory
- Research, develop and close new opportunities to increase sales in territory
- Proactively communicate with all customers in region to ensure that we are providing the type of service they prefer / expect to have.
All customers have different expectations for the type of service they want and it is the representatives responsibility to be sure they understand that and are communicating accordingly.)
- Actively maintain strong relationships with top customers.
- Internally provide information regarding all issues of customer concerns about our products and services.
- Create and implement an efficient and effective sales plan covering your sales territory.
- Qualify and disqualify potential customers based on defined parameters for business potential.
- Consult with Sales Director on large volume low margin sales opportunities before making a commitment to the customer, especially where the commitment could require a significant investment in inventory.
- Travel within your territory on a regular basis (50%).
Senior Field Sales Representative Qualifications :
- Have strong organizational and communication skills (both oral and written).
- Be goal oriented and have a superior work ethic.
- Possess a strong sense of integrity & a desire to earn business through mutually beneficial relationships.
- Own a burning desire to find new business
- Have the ability to adapt and change to different situations.
- Possess basic computer literacy (Outlook, Office, Internet, etc.) and experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software like Salesforce.
- Have at least three years experience in outside sales.
