The High School Title Interventionist performs a variety of supports to students identified as at-risk in Reading and / or Math.
The High School Title Interventionists primarily assist teachers with assessing and implementing research-based interventions to scaffold learners in the skills or concepts in which they are deficient.
The High School Title Interventionist implements and supports the MTSS District Wide Framework. This is a full-time, 10 month position and will report directly to thePrincipal.

Partner with education leaders and other stakeholders, motivating them to make incremental change and take quantum leaps
Help identify solutions independently and eager to contribute and learn

Day In the Life Overview
On a regular day, as the High School Title Interventionist, you might :
Demonstrates command of researched-based interventions for Reading and / or Math
Participates in regularly scheduled staff, district, regional, and school level meetings asrequired
Assists teachers with differentiation strategies based on student data
Helps school with assessment process
Develops and models strategic intervention lesson plans
Implements and supports the district wide MTSS Framework
Helps schools identify appropriate interventions
Provides support to teachers in their classrooms with students
Conducts classroom, groups or one-on-one interventions within the classroom setting
Meets with classroom teachers to collaborate on inclusive interventions
Participates in regular professional development to improve knowledge and skills

EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND LICENSURE REQUIREMENTS
Specific qualifications include :
Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university
Valid Indiana Teaching License (ELA / MATH)
