Step into an afternoon where your expertise keeps freight moving

You clock in Tuesday–Saturday at 12 : 00 p.m., ready to take on a steady stream of tractors and trailers until 8 : 00 p.m. You connect JPRO or OEM diagnostic software, verify fault codes with a multimeter, and make precise electrical and mechanical repairs. Between jobs, you knock out preventive maintenance services and complete DOT inspections aligned with FMCSA guidelines. It’s hands-on, fast-paced, and deeply satisfying work—supported by a company that supplies major tools and invests in your growth.

Compensation & role details

  • Average Pay Range : $23 - $25 / hr (rate varies based on experience and certifications)
  • Sign-On Bonus : $2,000
  • Schedule : Tuesday - Saturday, 12 : 00 p.m. - 8 : 00 p.m.
  • NFI Division : Fleet Services

What you’ll tackle

  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical and mechanical issues on tractors and trailers using tools such as JPRO, OEM Diagnostic Software, multimeters, and Windows-based systems
  • Perform preventive maintenance across our fleet of tractors and trailers
  • Conduct DOT inspections in accordance with FMCSA standards
  • Work safely with the physical ability to lift / pull 75+ lbs without restriction, stand or lie for extended periods, and maneuver to reach equipment
  • What you bring

  • Valid driver’s license (Class A / B ability preferred)
  • Technical or advanced degree, or 2+ years of equivalent maintenance experience
  • Comfort using diagnostic equipment and software (JPRO, OEM platforms), multimeters, and Windows
  • Proven problem-solving ability
  • Team-first mindset with strong customer service, verbal, and written communication skills
