About The Role
We are currently seeking a Speech Language Pathologist for a full-time, hourly role in our Rehabilitation department. The ideal candidate is a collaborative, detailed-oriented, and positive individual with outstanding interpersonal communication skills.
Preferably, someone with experience working with patients having swallowing disorder, autism spectrum disorder and ADHD.
Our team values a professional who can bring a patient-centered approach to therapeutic strategies.
What You"ll Do
- Work full-time in the Rehabilitation Department, providing speech therapy services.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop the best care plans for patients.
- Address issues related to swallowing disorders, implementing therapeutic regimens appropriately.
- Work with patients diagnosed with ADHD and those within the autism spectrum, offering specialized language support.
- Contribute to patients" therapy with a detail-oriented, positive and passionate approach.
Qualifications
- Holder of a Master"s degree in Speech Language Pathology.
- Possess state licensure in speech language pathology.
- Demonstrate exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Preferred experience dealing with swallowing disorders, ADHD and autism spectrum disorder, although not mandatory.
- Desirable to have a Certificate of Clinical competence in Speech Language Pathology.
