MEP Construction - Project Manager / Superintendent - Brooklyn, NY will be responsible for the oversight and completion of Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing portions of Commercial, Healthcare and Medical Construction projects throughout New York, New York.

Description

MEP Construction - Project Manager / Superintendent - Brooklyn, NY

• Implement and maintain effective management, planning, and cost control systems in cooperation with the project team
• Assist with pre-construction activities relevant to assigned Commercial construction project
• Manage and supervise the completion of MEP portion of a large Ground up project
• Will report directly to Senior Construction Manager and assist with all duties
• Establish and maintain communications between Client and Subcontractors to ensure accurate and timely flow of information
• Prepare or assist pre-construction manager with the project budget
• Work with estimating department to prepare buy-out plan
• Coordinate with Sub contractors
• Review and approve Commercial construction operation plans, change order request and pay apps.
• Provide monthly forecasting for all projects, including internal general conditions costs
• Review contingency plans for potential problems concerning labor activity, fire, storms, etc.
• Track and report on all project costs
• Identify and evaluate risk that may have an impact on the project
• Remain knowledgeable of subcontract agreements, purchase order terms and conditions, and sub consultant agreements
• Develop and issue monthly status reports to keep management informed on construction progress, direct and indirect construction costs, and other project activities

Profile

• MEP Construction - Project Manager / Superintendent - Brooklyn, NY
• 7+ years of working on commercial construction projects in NYC Building and Construction industry
• Experience with Healthcare or Medical Projects
• Experience in Commercial and Retail markets
• 10+ years of MEP focused work
• Experience handling projects
• Local to New York, NY and Commutable to Manhattan, NY
• Must have experience building in New York City
• Construction Management or equivalent degree
• Client facing Commercial Construction Project Manager
• $200k - $225k
