Job Description :
Soliant is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher (SPED) to join a school district in Rose Hill, TX. The SPED teacher will support students with diverse learning needs by creating and implementing effective instructional strategies and individualized education plans (IEPs).
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs.
- Adapt curriculum and teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
- Monitor and assess student progress, making adjustments as needed.
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to support student success.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal setting and progress evaluation.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Special Education or a related field.
- Valid Texas teaching license in Special Education.
- Experience working with students with special needs is preferred.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
