Reporting to the Head of Accounting Subsidiaries at FIFA and the Chief Legal and Compliance, you are responsible for the finance and accounting tasks in the new FIFA office in Miami.

You develop and maintain policies for FIFA (Americas) in collaboration with the Head office in Switzerland. Furthermore you assure smooth interaction with internal entities like US procurement or US Payroll.

Please note that we are open to part-time working arrangements for this position.

THE POSITION

These are your key tasks :

• Financial management of FIFA (Americas)'s Inc.
• Responsible for Accounts Payable
• Managing payment ru, single payment orders and creditor invoices
• Processing and checking creditor invoices in the online workflow system
• Financial management of employee expense reports
• Managing the FIFA corporate credit cards of employees
• Preparation of tax return statements
• Responsible for the declaration and recovery of withholding taxes
• Execution of general bookings in SAP
• Preparing and support on annual financial statements
• Account reconciliations for monthly and annual financial statements, including social insurance reconciliations.
• Dealing with telephone and written enquires

The specific competencies we require for this position are :

• Higher degree in Finance Administration; Certified Accounting Expert
• Proven track record of 5+ years in accounting
• Experience in fast-paced environment
• Fluent in English; Spanish is an asset
• MS Office; SAP and advantage
• Highly competent in accounting matters with deep understanding of local requirements in the USA and the State of Florida
• Team player across functions and locations, passes on specialist knowledge independently in the team
• Confident demeanour
• Keen sense of responsibility
• Ability to work under pressure
