We are seeking a Sr. Talent Sourcer to join our dynamic recruiting team. In this role, you will play a crucial role in identifying and engaging top Quantitative and Engineering talent to support Trexquant’s growth initiatives.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the quant and technical talent market, exceptional sourcing abilities, and a passion for connecting with candidates.
Responsibilities
- Utilize various sourcing techniques (e.g., LinkedIn, Boolean searches, networking events) to identify and engage top technical professionals.
- Collaborate with recruiters and hiring managers to understand role requirements and develop sourcing strategies to attract top talent.
- Proactively build and maintain a pipeline of potential candidates for current and future hiring needs.
- Screen and assess candidates to ensure alignment with job requirements and company culture.
- Engage with passive candidates and nurture relationships to convert them into active applicants.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and best practices in technical sourcing.
- Assist with other recruiting-related tasks and projects as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2-5 years of proven experience as a sourcer or similar role, ideally with a focus on sourcing engineering or quantitative researchers (experience working as an internal recruiter for a financial services company is a plus but not necessary;
we welcome folks coming from agencies).
- Proficient in using various sourcing tools and platforms, such as LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search techniques, and applicant tracking systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and build relationships with candidates.
