- Hours : 3pm-11 : 30pm
A Brief Overview :
Provides quality general and psychiatric nursing care to patients hospitalized for emotional or psychiatric disorders; serves actively and constructively as a member of the multi-disciplinary treatment team, supporting the organization and program philosophy of care;
to ensure the safety and well-being of each patient
What you will need :
Education, Skills and / or Experience Required :
- Maintain information as highly confidential
- Nursing degree
Education, Skills and / or Experience Preferred :
- One-year psychiatric experience
- Basic knowledge of abnormal psychology as typically found in the psychiatric population
- Familiarity with management of a therapeutic level system and understanding of system of rewards and consequences
License / Certification Required :
- Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse license
- Current CPR Certification issued by either American Heart Association or Red Cross
- CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) certification within 90 days of hire
