Job Summary

The Sales Associate will be responsible for selling Burly Botanical’s superior products to dispensaries in Oklahoma. The Outside Sales Representative will be comfortable discussing cannabis products, making a high volume number of calls, generating interest, qualifying prospects and closing sales.

Responsibilities

Prospect and generate new commercial business for our line of products, as well as perform cold-calls in the field to generate new permanent sales.

Utilize selling techniques and market strategies to expand and build upon client base.

Reach out to customer leads through cold calling (phone calls, texting, emailing, and in-person).

Identify leads, manage prospects and acquire new business.

Service existing clients.

Effectively demonstrate product line.

Meet and / or exceed sales quotas.

Coordinate with team members and departments to optimize the sales effort.

Education :

College degree is a plus.

Experience :

Minimum of 3 years of direct sales experience (Required)

Cannabis knowledge and experience.

Must have proven cannabis sales experience with contacts (selling cannabis in OK is a plus!)

Misc :

Must be 21+ years old.

Must have a valid driver’s license and dependable transportation.

Computer Skills : To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of primary programs used by Nextep in business operations.

This includes but is not limited to the following : Google apps; time and attendance platform; Nextep’s electronic on-boarding system;

PrismHR; Salesforce.com; Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) applications; Google applications; email management systems, CRM systems and Internet applications.
