Part-Time Speech Language Pathologist

Position Overview :

We are looking for a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team for 2 days a week! This position is in a collaborative and community-focused elementary school in Plainfield, IL.

The Speech Language Pathologist will be responsible for servicing a caseload of 20-25 students with mild to moderate disabilities, some of which are speech-only.

Responsibilities :

  • Provide direct and indirect speech and language services to identified students within the caseload
  • Conduct student assessments, develop treatment plans (IEP / 504) , and provide diagnostic intervention
  • Facilitate and be involved in the Individualized Education Plan (IEP) process
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers and families to meet student needs and track intervention
  • Observe students in diverse educational environments and provide recommendations and modifications
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications :

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Professional Educator License (PEL) eligible in the state of Illinois
  • Previous experience in a K-12 setting (preferred)
