Job Title : Registered Nurse (RN)
Job Specialty : NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit)
Job Duration : 16 weeks
Shift : Nights, 12-hour shifts (7 PM - 7 AM), 4 weekend shifts in a 4-week period required
Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week
Experience : 2+ years of NICU RN experience
License : Active and clear RN License
Certifications : BLS, PALS, NRP
Must-Have : Proficiency in CERNER charting
Job Description :
- Provide specialized nursing care for critically ill or premature infants in the NICU.
- Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and perform routine assessments for infants.
- Educate and support families on the care and progress of their infants.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care using CERNER.
- Adhere to established protocols and standards to ensure patient safety and quality of care.
- Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced, challenging environment.
- Wear any color scrubs as per the dress code.
