Alcott HR is currently searching for a Retirement Plan Manager to oversee the administration, compliance, and delivery of retirement plan services for our clients. The Retirement Plan Manager will be responsible for consulting with clients on plan offerings and plan design, appraising system performance, addressing client questions and proactively resolving discrepancies.

Here's what you'll do :

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients regarding retirement plan administration.
  • Manage day-to-day plan operations including enrollments, distributions, loans, and contribution processing.
  • Ensure compliance with IRS, DOL, and ERISA regulations, including nondiscrimination testing and annual reporting requirements (Form 5500, audits, etc.).
  • Partner with payroll, benefits, and HR teams to ensure seamless integration of retirement services.
  • Communicate with client decision makers on the value of adopting retirement plan as a benefit for their employees.
  • Advise on plan design and setup during implementation period and regularly consult with client on plan performance and accomplishment of goals.
  • Proactively meet with plan participants, conduct enrollment meetings and provide day-to-day service to clients as applicable.
  • Provide guidance and education to clients and employees on plan features, benefits, and compliance.
  • Monitor legislative and regulatory changes affecting retirement plans and advise on necessary updates.
  • Run reports for clients on a regular cadence, along with creating unique reporting upon client request.

You are someone who has :

  • 5+ years of experience managing retirement plans (401(k), 403(b), or similar)
  • Experience in a PEO, TPA, or benefits administration environment is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of ERISA, IRS, and DOL requirements.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, HR, or related field is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and client service skills.
  • Compensation : Competitive salary range of $85,000 – $110,000, commensurate with experience.
