Position Purpose
The Intelligence Support Analyst provides support to the programs and products of the Intelligence & Analytics (I&A) teams and management.
This position will assist in conducting analyses to generate internal reports to improve I&A’s operational efficiency and allow NICB stakeholders to make informed decisions.
Work Arrangement And Description
This is a hybrid position with the Reporting Location at NICB Headquarters (Oak Brook, IL). The individual will have the flexibility to work away from NICB Headquarters but will be required to report periodically in-person based on business needs, subject to the discretion of their supervisor and in compliance with NICB's rules and procedures.
Competencies / Duties
- Facilitate and conduct analytical requests through reviewing I&A ticketing system and coordinating with appropriate SME team(s).
- Obtain, collate, and analyze data to provide statistics and / or visuals for internal requests.
- Produce strategic information reports based on NICB Hotline tips.
- Monitor non-claim information submissions (NIS) from member companies for appropriate assignment.
- Coordinate I&A program communications with other NICB departments.
- Maintain I&A intranet and departmental documentation, ensuring it is current and accurate.
- Support and coordinate I&A onboarding activities of new hires, including program overviews and cross-department introductions.
- Coordinate intra-departmental communications.
- Support I&A Directors with planning and scheduling of meetings, action items, and timelines to ensure efficiency and alignment.
- Coordinate I&A invoicing and purchases with Finance and maintain monthly management report.
- Collate customer feedback (survey responses, email, etc.) to support management decision-making.
- Other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements / Abilities
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.

- Proficient in utilizing queries for data extraction, basic analysis, and report creation.

Education, Work Experience, Licensure
- Associate’s degree required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.) required.
- 2 years of experience in data analysis / visualization required; SharePoint content creation preferred.
- Excel and SQL experience required; PSQL, AWS and Redshift preferred.
Supervisory Responsibilities
This position has no direct reports.

Salary Range And Statement
The salary range for this position is $56,000 to $65,000. This range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.
The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors including the specific requirements for this position, the candidate's geographic location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
