We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounting Assistant to join our team. This position involves supporting the accounting department with tasks related to both Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
The ideal candidate will ensure accuracy and efficiency in processing financial transactions, while maintaining organized records of all accounting activities.
Key Responsibilities :
Accounts Payable (AP) :
- Register and process vendor invoices, including rent and operational expenses.
- Conduct research and follow-up on invoices to ensure timely payment.
- Ensure all transactions are accurately entered into QuickBooks and other accounting systems.
- Assist with the monthly closing process by reviewing and validating all AP transactions.
Accounts Receivable (AR) :
- Oversee customer accounts, monitoring payment schedules and credit lines.
- Perform regular reconciliations of bank accounts and AR records.
- Communicate with customers to collect overdue payments and resolve disputes.
- Record all payment details and maintain accurate AR records.
Month-End Closing :
- Participate in the month-end closing process, ensuring all financial data is properly recorded and reconciled in QuickBooks.
- Prepare and review reports to ensure the accuracy of financial statements for timely submission.
Qualifications :
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks.
- Ability to communicate effectively with vendors and customers.
- Experience in both AP and AR functions is preferred. Benefits :

- Accounting : Minimum two years
- Proficiency in QuickBooks is required.
- Proven intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
