Emergency MedicalTechnician-Basic (EMT-B)
Location : Bronx, NY
Starting pay is$18.99 per hour and up, based on years ofexperience!
We're hiring Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs)that will respond to emergency and non-emergency requests formedical assistance and deliver high-quality care, treatment, andcustomer service topatients.
Responsibilities :
- EMTs provide an assessment ofpatients, determine necessary care, and deliver emergency servicesby utilizing appropriate medical techniques and equipment.
- Document patient information, condition, andtreatment while maintaining confidentiality and patient rights.
- Take pride in providing a safe, clean, andwell-stocked environment for patients.
- Useappropriate skills to provide care including communications,medical equipment, cleaning procedures, office equipment, andtools.
- EMTs operate an ambulance inconjunction with applicable company safety policies, and trafficlaws related to the operation of emergency medical responsevehicles.
- Work collaboratively and in aprofessional manner with all allied health and public safetypersonnel as well as your fellow EMTs.
MinimumRequired Qualifications :
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
- State Driver's License
- State EMT certification
- CPR / BLS certification
- Driving record in compliance with companypolicy
- PassPhysical Ability Test (PAT)
- Some work experience, preferably inhealthcare is preferred
