Job Description : - Responsible for the delivery of direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process in all areas of the unit.
- Assess patients upon admission and throughout their stay. - Administer IV medications, therapy, and blood as needed. - Provide patient education.
- Document nursing care actions, teaching, observations, and patient responses. - The emergency center offers a full spectrum of emergency care with a separate Chest Pain Center.
Additional Information : - Up to 16 hours of orientation is unpaid. - Shifts may be canceled up to 3 times per 13-week contract.
- Experience using EPIC EMR system preferred.
