Inviting applications for the role of Senior Principal Consultant, Quality Engineer.
Client is seeking a Quality Engineer who will be responsible for leading and managing the test automation efforts using Tricentis Tosca within the organization.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Tosca, a solid understanding of test automation best practices, and the ability to lead and mentor a team of automation engineers.
This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful implementation and execution of test automation strategies.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience in test automation with a focus on Tosca.
- Experience in working on Java and Selenium.
- Proven leadership experience in managing and leading test automation teams.
- Strong understanding of test automation frameworks and best practices.
- Hands-on experience with scripting languages and automation tools.
- Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI / CD) processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and maintenance of test automation frameworks using Tosca.
- Ensure the scalability and flexibility of the test automation framework to accommodate changes in application features and requirements.
- Implement best practices for modular and reusable automation code.
- Collaborate with QA, development, and business teams to understand application features and requirements.
- Oversee the execution of automated test suites and monitor test results.
- Analyze and report on automated test results, identifying and prioritizing issues.
- Ensure the timely resolution of automated test failures and defects.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in the test automation process and tools.
- Provide training and knowledge sharing sessions to enhance the skills of the automation team.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience in the implementation or support of supply chain solutions is a plus.
