We are currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Travel Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team for assignments in Delaware.
As a Travel LPN at NCG Associates, you will have the opportunity to travel to different healthcare facilities in Delaware and provide essential nursing care to patients.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician's orders
- Monitor patients' conditions and report changes to the registered nurse or physician
- Assist with the development and implementation of patient care plans
- Provide basic nursing care, including wound dressing, catheter care, and vital signs monitoring
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and eating
- Document patient information accurately and efficiently
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Educate patients and their families about their conditions and self-care techniques
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Adhere to infection control protocols and safety guidelines
Requirements
- Active and unrestricted LPN license in the state of Delaware
- Graduation from an accredited practical nursing program
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience as an LPN
- Proficient in electronic medical records (EMR) and documentation
- Knowledge of nursing principles and practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards patients
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- BLS certification (Basic Life Support) is required
