Type : Full-time, Contracting through Soliant Education
Description :
Are you an enthusiastic Occupational Therapist ready to enhance students' lives through tailored interventions? Soliant Education is seeking a passionate individual to fill the role of School-Based OT in Lexington, NC, for the 2024-2025 academic year.
In this position, you'll collaborate with school staff and families to provide prehensive services addressing sensory, motor, and developmental needs.
Responsibilities :
- Conduct evaluations and assessments to identify students' functional abilities and areas for growth.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans targeting sensory, motor, and self-care skills.
- Deliver direct therapy services to students individually and in group settings.
- Work closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' academic and social development.
- Provide training and consultation to school staff and families on strategies to promote student independence and participation.
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and services provided.
Qualifications :
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Valid North Carolina licensure or eligibility for licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
- Prior experience in a school setting preferred, but recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Strong munication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
