The Opportunity
As a Business Analytics Consultant, you will work in a fast paced, collaborative environment responsible for supporting the data and reporting needs of the Procurement department.
These include various reports and dashboards with spend, contract, project, vendor information from SAP / Ariba, travel data from Concur, Card Provider, TMC (travel management company), Archer, ServiceNow and Diversity.
The individual will work within a team and be responsible for generating analytical reports as well as troubleshooting data or interface issues across our multiple data sources.
The candidate will collaborate with our Technology team to understand our systems and data models to extract the relevant datasets.
The Team
The team is preparing reports for Procurement leadership and our executive leadership team. There are urgent requests that need the potential candidate to be agile and work in a fast-paced environment.
Emphasis on the quality of data for any reports / dashboard is critical for this role.
The Impact :
- Brings advanced knowledge of SQL Database, Alteryx, Tableau, PowerBI and MicroStrategy for report visualization and creating actionable reporting.
- Gains clarity of reporting needs of the business and understands the content of requested reports.
- Uses systems to create routine reports and auditing to ensure data quality and integrity.
- Finds data anomalies, creating process to validate data accuracy.
- Finds opportunities for process improvements in reporting along with providing insightful analytics for complex problem solving.
- Finds data trends and makes recommendations for senior leadership.
- Provides ad hoc reporting requests in a timely manner.
- Completes weekly / monthly reporting assignments on time and ensures accuracy of each report.
- Manages multiple tasks and prioritize to meet deadlines while setting clear expectations on delivery dates.
- Establishes being a trusted resource for the entire department providing critical information to assess compliance to current policies and determine future strategies.
The Minimum Qualifications
- Degree in Finance, Data Analytics / Science, Computer Science, Math or related field
- 4+ years of proven reporting and analysis experience
- 2+ years of experience working with SAP Ariba or a large ERP
- 2+ years of experience working with Power BI, Tableau or MicroStrategy
The Ideal Qualifications
- Ability to work as a member of a fast-paced team
- Demonstrated experience in timely creation of both standard and ad hoc reporting, data analysis and presentation of findings
- Experience working directly with internal customer's and identifying need before they ask
- Strong communication skills with ability to work with technology and business partners
- Experience collaborating with a team of varying skillsets
- Proficiency with Word, Excel and Power Point, with advanced skills in Excel (Pivot Tables, V-lookups, and Macros)
- Desire to learn emerging technologies
- Strong collaboration skills

Salary Range :
$88,300.00-$115,900.00
