Position Summary :

As a Registered Nurse in our Women's Services unit, you will be part of a collaborative team dedicated to providing specialized care to critically ill patients in our 6-bed unit. Your role will be pivotal in shaping exceptional patient journeys, utilizing your expertise and our cutting-edge technology to enhance patient well-being.

In this position, you will :

Implement plan-of-care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, and clinical treatments.

Document patient care accurately and thoroughly.

Monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions to the care team, physicians, patients, and families.

Assist patients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, nutrition, and mobility.

Collaborate across disciplines to coordinate comprehensive patient care, including transfers, discharges, and psychosocial support.

Evaluate and address the learning needs of patients and families, providing tailored education.

Advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of each patient.

Minimum Qualifications :

Education :

Associate's degree in nursing required

Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred

Certifications :

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.

Neonatal Resuscitation, Basic Fetal Monitoring, and STABLE required within 6 months of hire.

ACLS required within 12 months of hire.

License :

Current RN license in the state of Kentucky.
