FUNCTION
The IT Technician is responsible for providing support to the casino for operating system requirements.
SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Sets up new hardware such as personal computers, printers, servers, etc.
- Install and troubleshoot company approved software and web applications
- Troubleshoot network-related connectivity issues
- Provide quality customer service to our users through problem resolution and process demonstration
- Educate users to reduce reoccurring issues
- Ensure reported issues are documented in our ticketing system and then managed to closure
- Manage system user logins and access
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Support Audio / Visual systems
- Create and maintain technical documentation
- Perform administrative tasks as required by local and corporate policy
- Perform other duties as assigned

- Maintain a professional working relationship with all Team Members
- Must display a positive and upbeat attitude
- Ability to work in close proximity with co-workers
- Ability to work at a very rapid pace and in an environment with shifting priorities
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Willingness to assume overall responsibility relative to the performance of the IT Department
- Ability to solve IT related issues and provide Winning Experiences
EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE
- Casino experience a plus
- Two years’ experience as an IT Technician, a degree in related field, or equivalent combination of work experience and education is preferred
- Technical knowledge of Microsoft Windows OS (installation, configuration, and troubleshooting) required
- Knowledge of Active Directory and current protocols (TCP / IP, DHCP, etc.)
- A+, Network+ certifications preferred
- Ability to obtain and maintain a valid gaming license
