Johns Hopkins Howard County Medical Center’s Pediatric Emergency Department has 11 beds, 6 inpatient Peds beds, and 5 behavioral health Peds beds.
Nurse / Patient ratios are 3 : 1 or 4 : 1. Our Peds ER offers something for every RN to grow their skills in every spectrum of Peds nursing.
We are fortunate to have a Pediatrician onsite 24 / 7 and have an excellent team working closely together. If you want to work in a community hospital that fosters a healthy work / life balance and a stable nursing leadership team, we might be the right place for you.
A pediatrics background is required, ER nursing experience is preferred.

Part-time Evening Shift-24 Hours per week
Education :
Graduate of an approved RN program. BSN preferred.
Work Experience :
Minimum of one year of experience preferred
Licensure / Certifications :
- Current Maryland license as RN or licensure in a compact state that allows practice in Maryland.
- CPR required
