Personnel Security Analyst and Specialist

Key Role :

Support background investigations and onboarding processes for a federal government agency. Provide general support for the processing of personnel actions, and eQIP or eAPP records, and perform document management and data entry.

Review federal application and security forms for completeness and accuracy, and identify the presence of derogatory information.

Manage assigned cases as they move through the investigation or onboarding process. Maintain caseload and process times according to standards, timelines, and defined metrics, which will require maintaining accurate records, documenting actions, and communicating with applicants.

Access government agency databases to verify, collect, and input required data into investigation or onboarding systems.

Stay abreast of changes to OPM, DCSA, and DNI requirements.

Basic Qualifications :

  • 7+ years of experience initiating and adjudicating background investigations
  • 4+ years of experience using eQIP, eAPP, or PIPS
  • Top Secret clearance
  • Asso cia te’s degree

Clearance :

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information ;

Top Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.

The projected compensation range for this position is $54,000.00 to $123,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
