What to Expect (Job Responsibilities) :
- Analyze and define system requirements to support software products in the clinical genetics area
- Communicate functional requirements with stakeholders and internal scrum teams
- Report project status updates to senior leadership and assist in understanding project timelines
- Develop diagrams and flowcharts to aid the development team in understanding software solutions
- Coordinate change control protocols to ensure business approval of production deployments
What is Required (Qualifications) :
- Domain knowledge of genetics, genetic testing, and / or healthcare
- Bachelor’s or advanced degree in a Biology-related discipline or Computer Science, or equivalent work experience
- Minimum of 6 years of business analysis experience with software development
- Strong working knowledge and experience using JIRA
- Proficient in SQL and experienced with relational / non-relational databases
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications) :
- Scrum master experience
- Project Manager experience
- Experience facilitating project meetings and requirements gathering
- Knowledge of SDLC, Agile, and Scrum methodologies
