Physical Therapist - Acute Care Inpatient - Per Diem
Employment Type : * Part time *Shift : * Day Shift *Description : * *Johnson Memorial Hospital *a member of Trinity Health Of New England has an amazing opportunity for a Per Diem Inpatient* Physical Therapist* who has a desire to use the latest techniques and technologies to provide a comprehensive and compassionate care strategy to our patients.
The *Physical Therapist *will be working in our *Inpatient Acute Care Unit* treating patients with varied diagnoses from neurological to medically complex orthopedic case.
- What will you do : Evaluates, directs, plans and treats to help clients achieve a maximum level of functional independence.
- Work in a fast-paced environment with ongoing collaboration and communication with staff, patients, and families.* Develops and carries out a variety of techniques and modalities to provide individualized treatment appropriate to established goals.
- Modifies treatment plans and goals due to changes in client status and capabilities.* Provides appropriate information regarding client status to patient, family, treatment team and other professionals in a clear and concise manner.
- Requirements* : * Graduate of an accredited program in Physical Therapy* Current State of CT license.* Must have the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
This may include explaining clinical, technical and diagnostic procedures to clients and their families, counseling patients and their families and enforcing policies and regulations in difficult situations.
