Role Facts :

The Business Process Analyst will work with cross-functional teams to identify process improvement and cost saving opportunities on project-based items.

The Analyst will be responsible for making change recommendations, integrating process improvements, vetting and implementing new technologies, and monitoring new process adoption.

Challenge current business processes

Constantly question the status-quo and challenge existing business practices. Recognize the possibility of existing false paradigms and encourage team members to work backwards to collectively identify root cause problems.

Feel confident to question the ideation of others and encourage them to think outside of the box.

Current state analysis

Develop an understanding of current state processes to define baseline measures. Identify largest opportunity areas to integrate change based on the highest potential for return on investment.

Outline value proposition and make change recommendations

Based on current state analysis, outline opportunities and provide estimated savings resulting from potential change. Propose recommended changes and outline corrective action plans with set deadlines.

Manage implementation

Following project approval, integrate proposed changes through collaboration with key stakeholders impacted. Once integrated, facilitate trainings to users impacted and document standard operating procedures for future training purposes.

It is important to help users feel confident with changes as they are the individuals that drive efficiencies behind change efforts.

Monitor change controls

Following integration, monitor user adoption around implemented changes. While a process may foundationally be a great one, it is meaningless unless it is followed.

Ensure monitoring tools are in place to track efficiencies of change and have awareness around processes that may need modification.
