Cost Controller HF
For our client a major player in the field of maritime works energy and oil & gas we are looking for a Cost Controller.
Job Description
The Cost Controller will be responsible for financial management and cost control of projects in Saudi Arabia. The role includes monitoring and controlling project costs customer billing and other financial activities related to the projects.
The incumbent will work closely with various departments to ensure effective and transparent financial management.
Responsibilities
Budget Analysis
- Analyze business offers projects and develop budgets.
- Perform periodic budget recalculations.
Cost Control
- Approve vendor invoices.
- Monitor and control purchase and subcontracting requests and orders as well as financial commitments.
- Monitor and control local expenditures.
Customer Billing
- Read and understand contracts.
- Prepare and follow up on customer invoices.
- Track changes and cash flow.
- Monitor cash curve and perform ad hoc analysis.
Other Activities Based on Profile and Project
- Monitor risks and opportunities.
- Track project progress.
- Prepare monthly reports.
For the Financial Department
- Perform quarterly accounting reconciliations.
- Determine NPF and BCP using the physical advancement method.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Excel.
- Fluency in Arabic and English; proficiency in French is a plus.
- Strong accounting knowledge (income and outcome statements).
