Position Description

Epic Special Education Staffing is partnering with an exceptional school district who is looking for a contract Occupational Therapist for the 2023-2024 school year.

• Location : Phoenix, AZ
• Duration : Immediately - May 24, 2024
• Onsite or Virtual : On-Site
• Full or Part Time : Full Time
• Schedule : 4 days / week
• Grade / Age Levels : Pre-K, Elementary School, Middle School
• Caseload Description : different options for placement based on each candidates' strengths and preferences; placements that are a combination of general education and special programs (intellectual disabilities and autism;

mild-mod severity) in grades Pre-K- 8th; placement that would include one school with mostly general education / resource students and one school with general education / resource and our autism program

Qualifications

The minimum qualifications for an Occupational Therapist (OT) :

• 1 year of verifiable, professional experience as an OT within the last 3 years (may include residency or clinical practicum)
• Valid OT credential / license or in process in the state of practice
• IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card (or in process)
• Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States and will be asked for proof upon hire. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.
