Our client, a globally recognized law firm, is actively seeking a dedicated PR Manager for a 4-month maternity leave coverage.
This part-time role, requiring 20 hours weekly, is fully remote, with a preference for candidates in PST / MST time zones.
As a PR Manager, your responsibilities will include :
- Collaborating with the PR & Communications Coordinator to assess media opportunities and prevent conflicts
- Guiding attorneys through media coaching for interviews or press engagements
- Working closely with external PR agencies to evaluate earned media opportunities for relevance and impact
- Partnering with the Marketing and Communications team to promote earned media coverage across our client's website and social media channels
- Assisting in sourcing and placing attorney-authored articles in reputable publications
- Supporting the Marketing Content Specialist in managing the editorial calendar for firm-wide submissions
- Publicizing positive developments related to our client's diversity, recruiting, and pro bono programs
- Leading, mentoring, and managing the PR & Communications Coordinator, focusing on coaching and development
- Overseeing all ongoing PR tasks and initiatives with a hands-on approach to project management
The ideal candidate will possess :
- 3-5 years of proven experience in public relations, preferably within a legal or professional services environment
- Experience managing day-to-day relations with PR agencies
- Strong understanding of media relations and communication strategies
- Excellent writing, editing, and content creation skills
- Strong project management abilities, with the capacity to oversee multiple projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams while prioritizing deliverables
- Experience in coaching professionals for media communication
- Strong leadership, mentorship, and management skills
- Ability to develop and implement PR strategies with a global perspective
