Florida Licensed Inpatient Coding Manager

A company is looking for an Inpatient Coding Manager to oversee daily operations of the inpatient coding department.

Key Responsibilities

Manage inpatient coding teams and ensure accurate and timely coding of medical records

Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and support revenue cycle integrity

Collaborate with stakeholders to promote accurate clinical documentation and adherence to coding standards

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management or related field

3 years of supervisory / management experience

5 years of inpatient acute care hospital coding experience

Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) or Certified Professional Coder (CPC) required

Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) or Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) required
