Lead Project Team
PM's provide leadership , oversight, delegation, and coordination with various internal and external organizations providing services to the project execution that can include Design, Project Controls, Estimating, Construction Oversight, Supply Chain, Legal, EHS, QA / OC, Operations, Diagnostics, Communications, Stakeholder Engagement, Regulatory, Security, Fuels, etc.).
PM's coordinate and collaborate with contractors, vendors, and suppliers daily to manage preventive and corrective maintenance and operation of Duke Energy Services systems.
Establish and maintain communications among project stakeholders
Structure, lead, or assist in project related meetings to ensure open communication with key stakeholders including Duke Energy Services customers, management, coworkers, contractors, and vendors.
This can include preparing and communicating periodic and ad hoc reports, project status, and maintenance timing and procedures, both verbally and in written communications.
Manage project(s) including scope, schedule, cost, safety, and system performance
Manage the life of projects post construction including contracting, schedule development, monitoring, cost control measures, procurement / contracting strategies, vendor selection, warranty management, and integration processes as applicable.
Execute projects according to design with approved scope, cost and schedule constraints
Includes objectives, stakeholders, scope, roles and responsibilities, assumptions and constraints, deliverables, schedule, external communication, regulatory strategy, procurement strategy, contractor and supplier strategy, resource plan, budget, lessons learned, risk plan, quality plan, safety plan, environmental plan, security plan, integration plan, data management plan, communications and reporting plan, and change management.

Basic / Required Qualifications (PM I)
Associates degree and 2+ years related work experience OR
High School / GED degree and 5+ years related work experience

Working Conditions
Field Mobility Classification Work will be performed in various field locations, as needed, after the onboarding period.
However, field employees are required to live within a reasonable daily commute to their assigned work location.
The preferred work location is Raleigh or Charlotte, NC; alternate Duke Energy locations will be considered.
