Pharmacy Technician

Description :
Under the supervision of a Pharmacist, performs a wide variety of duties in the delivery of pharmaceutical care in specialty pharmacies ( the Pediatric Pharmacy, Critical Care Pharmacy, and Oncology Pharmacy) and inpatient pharmacy.
Along with other staff, delivers medication-related services to in-house patients, and related take-home medication services.
Assists Pharmacists in performing quality control procedures for drug distribution technologies.
Upholds the mission, vision, values, and customer service standards of The Client. .
Mandatory Qualifications :
HS diploma or passage of a high school equivalency exam.
Current / Certified Pharmacy Technician from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB).
Network access and / or applications needed :
Epic, Client logistics, Omnicell
Physical Requirements : Standing for long periods of time.
