Role Summary
Reporting to the Inside Sales Manager, Location Manager or Territory Manager, the Inside Sales Representative shall be motivated and well-spoken.
This role requires a dynamic individual with excellent communication skills, and a strong understanding of the products or services offered.
The Inside Sales Representative will be responsible for communicating with customers and vendors, understanding their needs and ensuring a smooth sales process.
The person in this role must be able to close sales. Exciting work you will do : The essential duties and responsibilities of the Inside Sales Representative position will consist of, but are not limited to, the following :
- Maintain a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries
- Communicate with customers and vendors through various channels
- Acknowledge and resolve customer complaints
- Participate in sales and product training sessions
- Process orders and quotes in business system
- Provide vendor portal assistance to customers
- Maintain records of customer interactions, transactions, comments, and complaints
- Communicate and coordinate with colleagues, customers, and vendors as necessary
- Explain and articulate product features and applications
- Make recommendations to customers for product selections
- Make outbound calls to customers and follow up on quotes and leads
- Understand customers’ needs and identifying sales opportunities
- Maintain a database of current and potential customers
- Provide the customer product submittal sheets for their approval and track their progress
- Close sales and achieve sales targets
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned

What you’ll need :
- Work Experience : 2 years’ customer service, sales or distribution experience
- Education : HS diploma or GED
- Computer Skills : Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with ERP or computer systems
- Organization Skills : Excellent work ethic; good verbal, and written communication skills
- Cross-functional skills : Ability to work well cross-functionally and manage multiple requests in a fast-paced environment
- Communication Skills : Ability to communicate well with all levels of the organization; provide excellent internal and external customer service;
experience handling escalated customer requests; negotiation skills

Qualifications we prefer but don’t require :
- Work Experience : 2 years’ electrical sales and customer service experience, Eclipse ERP experience
- Education : Associate or bachelor’s degree
