Low Voltage Technician $25-30/hr
Low Voltage Technician Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Low Voltage Technician to join our team. In this role, you will primarily work on servicing and installing residential lift systems.
Our ideal candidate has a certificate that follows the standards set by the National Electrical Code (NEC) and some experience working with low-voltage systems.
Shift / Pay for Low Voltage Technician :
- M-F 7am-4pm (NO nights / weekends / holidays)
- Travel is required, and the candidate needs to have a flexible schedule. All travel is around the Omaha area within 2-3 hours
- 2-5 overnights / month - otherwise home every night
- Pay : $25-30 / hr (depending on experience)
- Full benefits : health insurance, 401k, paid holidays PTO
Low Voltage Technician Duties and Responsibilities :
- Coordinate with clients to install systems on-site
- Respond to repair calls
- Read blueprints to determine how to best install the components and wiring
- Test all systems and troubleshoot any issues
- Teach the client how to use the system
Low Voltage Technician Requirements and Qualifications :
- High school diploma or GED certificate
- Electrician experience
- Blueprint reading skills
- Strong communication skills
- Mechanical skills
- Knowledge of electrical safety procedures
