Bright Horizons is seeking experienced, full-time Assistant Teachers at the Buerger Early Learning Center located in Philadelphia, PA!

The Buerger Early Learning Center facilitates a close and supportive community of families, teachers and clergy as we embrace Jewish traditions and values.

Our wonderful community instills a love of learning from infants to kindergarten, along with good principles based on Tikkun Olam (repairing the world) to Chesed (loving kindness).

Buerger Early Learning Center provides a full day early childcare program for ages 6 weeks through 5 years old that offers a warm and nurturing learning environment that weaves Jewish values and traditions into our everyday curriculum.

Working with another Child Care Teacher in the classroom, you will :

Assist with hands-on activities to meet the needs and interests of the children.

Communicate daily with parents. Document and share the important milestones in their child's day.

Keep the classroom safe and clean by following important procedures and guidelines.

Requirements :

Candidates must pass required state and company background checks, and meet state and company minimum education and experience requirements :

At least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED required

2 years (2500 hours) of demonstrated experience working with children; child care, daycare, or preschool required

Early childhood coursework, CDA, or degree preferred

Candidates must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 to ensure compliance with enhanced health and safety protocols and to keep yourself and others safe and free from illness.

Compensation Range : $13.10 - $15.95 / hr

Actual compensation offers will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education and training, certifications, geography, and other relevant business or organizational factors.
